I have always been overwhelmingly interested in diving, but I have long been afraid, too, of all of the “what-ifs” that could go wrong! I finally reached the point in my life when I was ready to learn. I asked a million questions before starting lessons, and a million questions during, and Larry (the owner of Dive Buddy Scuba Adventures) never once lost patience, helping me to gain confidence and knowledge throughout my NAUI Open Water course. I just completed my open water certification course with Larry, and I truly cannot say enough good about him or his course. I would suggest that anyone else local looking for lessons look no further than Dive Buddy Scuba Adventures. And, for those not local, classes with him are well worth the trip! Larry is an expert, of course, as one would expect of an instructor. More than that, though, he went above and beyond in all areas: he was patient, safety-focused, fun, creative, and flexible. He was completely committed to each of us students, and he helped me to feel confident and patient with myself—two things I most certainly did not feel when it came to diving! Even the training dives, in a local quarry that was a little chilly and remote, were a blast with Larry. We had two amazing days together, and I felt like I was part of a family as we dove together, learned together, and even picnicked together. Having spoken to many, many others who have their OW certification, I have come to realize that Larry provides a unique, unparalleled experience in learning to dive safely. I can't wait to take more courses with him!

If you have any thoughts about scuba diving Larry at dive buddy scuba is the place to go. My wife and I enjoyed the classes and the dive trips even more and we are looking forward to more dive trips with dive buddy
