I was lucky enough to find this jewel for my Mom's care. The staff is attentive, caring, and responsive to each resident's needs. Their goal is to create a home-like environment for each resident, and the comfort for family members to concentrate on the quality of their visits. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! \u003c3

We moved our Mom to Sunrise Dix Hills in November. She had been in 3 other well rated care facilities, including most recently a SNF. The care at Sunrise Dix Hills is so much better than the other facilities. At each of the other places we were fortunate to have some wonderful care givers, but the good staff couldn't be there for every shift, so the care was inconsistent. Here she is flourishing, with consistently good care and great oversight from management and from the nursing staff. Friendly, caring, capable staff are making a great difference and we are so appreciative.
My aunt is currently there (going on 3 yrs now). Her health has gotten worse- mainly due to poor excuse of ‘not enough resources’...Some staff are friendly, some are rude-Unacceptable to be told that they will TRY to change her ‘diaper’ 2x in 24 hrs!! For the Big money this place takes in-its nothing short of a sham/disgrace... many residents dont have family visiting regularly-if so, they’d notice food and some staff are Not professional.
Very horrible the staff not pleasant every One walks around with a attitude very unpleasant place to visit or to work would not want to work not even my dog I would let stay there
