Great idyllic place to take the family and escape. Stunning views of the Gasconade River, plenty for the kids to explore, cozy and well provisioned cabin, and so much wildlife! We'll be back for sure! We'll definitely be back. Our hosts were great too, checking us in promptly, in the rain even. Turns out we didn't need to trouble them for anything the whole time, thanks to the cabin being awesome and Tom's pointers about things to do.

We have stayed in 3 of the cabins on 3 different occasions. Tom and Kathy are consummate hosts and have always helped to make our stay memorable. Usually we are my wife and i, our 5 year old twins and our 9 year old daughter. This time it was just the 5 year old twins and me - we stayed in Aunt Phoebe's cabin - a privy, no running water (all bottled), no electricity - other than a small solar batter to run a fan and a few lights. I was lovely and magical. We canoed and swam in the river, hiked in the conservation area and dunked in the creeks. Lovely.
I can not tell you how much we love coming to stay at phoebe's cabin. Its beautiful and off grid. Perfect way to escape for a couple days. Me, my boyfriend and our dog have been here at least four times. The cabin has everything you would need. P.s the bird watching is the best! They put out birdseed and the birds will come right up to you!
Best vacation my family has ever had! Loved this place! Stayed at Aunt Phoebes cabin for a few days. The atmosphere was wonderful and the owners were so nice!

A Country Christmas! We spent a relaxing Christmas at Turkey Ridge this year. It exceeded our expectations. The cabin was cozy and turn key. The kitchen was fully furnished, everything anyone would need. We had internet and steaming on a flat screen TV with a perfect picture. The beds were comfortable with quality linens. The view was gorgeous. The temperature dipped down into single digits overnight. In spite of this, we were warm and cozy and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas.
You cannot go wrong visiting REB! It was amazing and exactly what we needed to escape the business of life. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING. The cabin is perfect. We stayed in Turkey Ridge and cannot wait to go back. The owners have made sure to provide everything you will need for a great getaway. The views are absolutely amazing, comfy beds, great amenities....worth every single penny. We cannot wait to go back. Oh and dog friendly!
