If this review is solely on my counselor I would give it a five. But the experience otherwise has been nothing but a headache. Getting my first appointment took weeks because I wasn’t getting callbacks and people weren't answering phones. When I finally went in for an appointment I sat there for one and a half hours waiting. Billing was also a nightmare. I played phone tag with them for weeks and had seen my counselor twice before even getting to that part. Communication is lacking with the front desk. I have been told multiple times they will call back with appointments for me and they never do and when I call it’s the same questions over again. It’s like they didn’t listen the last five times. Just yesterday I called and canceled my appointment for today because I was sick and I got a phone call from my counselor asking why I didn’t show up. I would think it would be in the best interest if Sinnissippi reviewed their response and communication with their clients and potential clients. Being a mental health establishment, some people would feel that it shows that they don’t care, and if that’s a problem they have with their mental illness, that definitely won’t aspire much confidence. Once you get past the circus and finally get your first appointment and finish the phone tag with billings, it gets smoother. The counselors are awesome people and have helped me immensely. Is it worth the headache? For me, yes, only because of the great job the counselors do. Just be prepared to call the front desk five times in a week because you’ll seldom get a call back. Update: Last week I discussed with the receptionist my next appointment would need to be around 3:00 because of my new work hours. She told me she had me in for 3:00. I just got my text reminder for 2:30. I called and she had put it in for the wrong time and now I have to wait two weeks to see him for a total of three. Guys, get your freaking act together. Seriously.

If you are looking for a safe and caring environment then do not go here. The med person won't listen. Christina Beeche doesn't listen. When told my stress and anxiety lamded me in thr ER they both said that it's good \there's nothing actually wrong\ with my heart. I left a voicemail to cancel all appointments and to not contact me again. Christina had someone call me. I informed them I wanted any appointments cancelled & they could not contact my number again. She assured me that Christina would be told. But Christina called me. So I hung up and left a voicemail again saying that if she called me again I would file harassment charges. That stopped her. Since my mental health state has been worse. I have an issue with telling patients that if stress & anxiety aren't dangerous. They kept telling me nothing was wrong with me. Even though a cardiologist said something was wrong with my heart. What they did made all my problems worse and I started cutting again. They said meditation and breathing would fix everything. Just ignoring the fact that I have already been doing that and still ended up hospitalized. I will never go back to this place. Dismissing heart problems is not okay. What they are doing is dangerous. If you are looking for a safe and caring environment then do not go here. They don't care about safety or actually helping people. They only care about money.

I rescind what I said before about Sinnissippi Centers.

The psychiatry staff (doctors and APNs) are not worth the time. They will not continue care you had under a previous medical team, they will want to change and/or discontinue meds. Medication I rely on for panic attacks was denied by three different clinicians at Sinnissippi. Additionally, I was not offered an alternative to this medication. I cannot count on the prescribers at Sinnissippi to have my back and support me. I find it unacceptable that my mental health is in jeopardy by individuals who do not know me.

The councilor is great but everything else about this company has not went well.
