My wife and I want to thank Duncan the owner of DLR and his office manager Don for such a positive experience purchasing our new car. We just bought a 2017 XC60 R-Design and the entire transaction was painless. Some of the positives; communication of when the vehicle was ready, no pressure, the test drive experience was great and the 5 year / 100k warranty was a great unexpected bonus. They were both very friendly and Duncan is just a wealth of knowledge on everything Volvo. We highly recommend anyone looking for a previously owned Volvo to visit Duncan and his team at DLR. Duncan the owner of DLR Nordic was amazing and helpful. He helped my wife and I find the perfect new to us S60 R-Design Volvo! We love our new vehicle and the included 5yr-100k mile warranty was just a huge plus. No pressure, no hoovering, just honest and straight forward information. Looked at a lot of used cars before DLR Nordic, and they have the nicest inventory of any dealer I visited. Prices are very reasonable and there’s clearly a culture of no pressure. Bought an extremely clean XC90 after perhaps the easiest closing I’ve ever had. There was a problem I recognized after we closed due to miscommunication, so I approached them and they took care of it without any trouble- this is the most important part of the review. There’s no way to avoid issues in every transaction as a business, I don’t expect that as a customer, it’s how you handle them that matters. DLR Nordic took care of it. You want to do business with people like that.
Really impressed with my experience. Before coming in I called various times about v60 models. The staff was always polite. Once I made it. I wanting to view the 2017 v60 cc and ended up driving a 2020 v60 cc. Don was my sales rep. He was extremely polite and patient with me. I had a bunch of questions on the new models. I can't comment on purchase yet but so far has been a pleasent time.
Overall, our experience with DLR Nordic team was excellent. I really appreciated the team's transparency and quick response times to emails and messages. I wish that all dealerships would make car buying as easy as DLR Nordic and adopt a similar selling process. If needed, they have relationships with great Credit Unions with great rates on used vehicles and can easily source OEM Volvo parts/accessories at great prices. I would highly recommend DLR Nordic, and would give Don, Duncan, and team an A on overall customer service.
