The drive up to south mountain was great.. i don't understand why people ride peddle bicycles up and down the mountain blocking traffic. I wish the state would put a bike lane in for them so people won't get hurt The view is amazing and definitely a lot cooler. I went during the weekend day but its still busy. I wanted to take more pictures for my business and website. I highly recommend this drive for families or couples.

Great views of the city. The Dobbins marker is actually a bit lower than another point in the same area just to the right maybe 120 yards away. Both points give great vantage points for pictures. The winding mountain roads up are the best.

This is a must visit place if you're in town. Gorgeous views, beautiful drive/hike, endless skies, tall cactus. This is where you would see how beautiful a desert can be.

This place is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Great spot to bring guests, date night, quiet time or even the family. My daughter, husband and I hiked up the Holbert Trail to reach the top of Dobbins Point!!! Now THAT is the best way to capitalize on the incredible views of this place!!! Check out our YouTube channel (Harper's Journey) for live footage of our hike to the top. BEAUTIFUL SPOT!!! Dobbins is a must see!!!

Great lookout out with some nice views of the Phoenix valley! Good place to spend some time with friends or family. There are some hiking trails connecting to the lookout as well but I’ve only ever driven to the top. The drive up is windy, but not too bad - just watch out for cyclists.
