Great place to have a drink!
I was first introduced to Docknockers when my buddy got married on a pirate ship & we disembarked from the Docknockers dock. Since then it has become my favorite place to have lunch. Everything on the menu is delicious! I think my favorite is the Black Jack chicken sandwich & fries, but the seafood nacho is awesome too.
Visited Friday night. I cannot give you a good review. 60.00 spent for food not fit to eat. Ordered 1 bucket of Fried Shrimp with Fries. Fried shrimp burnt so bad could not eat it, there were no fries in the bucket. 1 bucket of Fried Oysters with Fries Fried Oysters burnt so bad could not eat it, no fries in the bucket. Red Snapper sandwich with fries. No mayo for the bread, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no pickles served. Red snapper was so thin & dry. Not fit to eat. Fries were good. Restaurant was busy, that's no excuse. There are TIMERS for friers, cooks should have used them. I have cooked for 10 years at the lake. If your going to be this busy put 2 more people on in the kitchen.
Awesome people. Our bartender, Scott was one of the best! The band. Trev and Dev was incredible. I think we found a gem. Will continue going back every time we visit!
Kingston and Major are the best youngest host I've ever met. So polite to everyone. You have got to tip them, 5 or more. They work very hard. Bartender, Ms. Jackie is wonderful as well. But to top it off, food is awesome and price just as well awesome. Cooks are great. 5 star service.
I'm sorry to say the food is not as good as it used to be. Went there today for an early dinner and had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. More bun than meat, skimpy on cheese, and little flavor. They used to be so good! I've definitely had worse, but really disappointed.
