I had a nice experience at Donuts Plus as the people were very nice, engaging and made you feel welcome. The donuts are home made and super fresh. A dozen is 13.39. The donut size is very small in comparison to other donuts from around the state. But the quality is there and way better than any Dunkin Donut, so I have no problem with the price point. The Boston Creme could use more filling, but it alk seems to work. If you want a little taste of a donut, then you will love this donut size. The store itself screams Shore Nostalgia, love everythjng about it. Next trip I need to try the Famous Breakfast Sandwich for sure.

Family owned store that always bakes the best treats! The perfect start to our day whenever we are staying at the shore. Their donuts are always fresh and their breakfast sandwiches are the best around. Make sure to come visit when you're in town - and bring cash!
Been vacationing in Lavalette for almost 40yrs...finally tried this place with great anticipation as I believe its a long living staple in that area. 7:30am pickup of a dozen bagels, cream cheese and a bunch of breakfast sandwiches. Spent over 50 and was left very unsatisfied. Bagels were rubbery and did not taste fresh. The Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches....ONE PIECE OF TAYLOR HAM ON EACH SANDWICH!! Just one. On each. No joke. Felt like I was out of state getting sandwiches at that point. Pretty sure the Jersey minimum is 3 pieces.
We went there the second night of our four day weekend and we had to go every day after that. The donuts taste like the delicious homemade donuts my grandma used to make in her small pot of oil. In fact, everything (donuts, breakfast sandwich, muffins) taste like they were homemade by grandma. If you eat nothing else in Lavallette, make sure you at least try Donuts Plus. I have had very few donuts that good in my life.
Our favorite breakfast place down the shore!! My son had to have a T-shirt this year he loves it so much.
