Great family owned and operated business. Wonderful craftsmanship by everyone in the company. Double D Blacktop goes over and beyond for all of their customers. They leave a job site looking more amazing than you can imagine. Not just their work. Their work is beautiful! But when they clean up, they really clean up. They even picked up a little trash that was there from before they even came. They went over and beyond with everything from mannors and respect to our home and gardens (and even to every one in the house) (they encouraged the kids to watch and have fun doing so...the kids love big trucks!! they would beep for them!!), to their work, to the clean up, and to that young pup Dylan, who owns the company. What an amazing young Christian man. Best of any construction worker/owner out there that I have ever met. Polite, well spoken, and hardworking young family man who seems really well rooted in his grandfather's shoes as the head of this company. Who was really great to work with as well. The old man was great too. Funny man with more experience in blacktop than there are stars in the sky. Great guys who are great to talk to and work with, who go over and beyond for anyone and everyone around.

Dylan with Double D was very polite and professional. I was very, very impressed. They started in the morning and they were finished and gone before I got home. I'm very impressed and happy with my new driveway!
I needed to redo my blacktop driveway and rear turn around, also I wanted to add a 16X25 kick out to the rear pad to park an extra vehicle. I called four companies and narrowed it down to two and D&D was one. After calling D&D to ask a couple of questions so I could make my final decision the person I was talking with stated he would like to see the driveway as he was not the one who quoted it to better answer my questions. I asked for his name and he stated Dillon and informed me that he was the grandson and third generation of the family owned business. I let him pick the time and the date for convenience to him. He chose 11:30 am the next day, I stated great see you then. The next day came and by 12 pm he was a no-show. I called the office number and he answered (sounded like he was on cell) I introduced myself and asked how far away he was. He informed me he thought it was 1:30 pm and apologized. I told him I understood we are all human and it’s a crazy time right now. I told him I could handle some other business and meet him back at the house at 1:30 pm if that would work, he stated yes and would see me then. I asked if he could do me one favor and to call me on my cell if he could not make it, he agreed and stated no problem. I left to take care of some of my work related items and returned at 1:15pm. Well you guessed it by 2:15 pm NO SHOW AGAIN. No call no e-mail just a waste of my time. I picked this company because of their high ratings on Google. Apparently for some reason I was the guy they did not care about. As my grandfather use to say to me my money spends other places and places where people appreciate it. I would just recommend being home all day or maybe the whole week. Take the time and look at the other ONE STAR that I missed..... see anything in common ?
Great people to deal with , excellent work ethic, extremely nice work!!
After a couple of months of constantly changing the dates of work with having to fight to get responses, they never showed for the job. Obviously this is a pattern if you look at other reviews. Highly unprofessional.
