This is a wonderful place to spend the day with your family. There are plenty of CLEAN picnic tables (in the shade) and spaced out well (the tables are so well kept, no way of getting a sliver). We loved how the picnic table was close to the water so we can easily watch the kiddos in the water while staying with our stuff. The lake water was so nice and perfect temp, even the sand was so soft, no hard rocks or anything nasty (lol). They provide many trash bins, which are very clean and they keep up with them. The bathrooms were very clean and the soap smelled so good!! I was very impressed!! They have the best lifeguards, they are so attentive and nice. Best of all they made sure to tell some kids not to chase or tease the ducks and the duckling. Also, the rule about no loud music/speakers only headphones is a plus! Nothing is more aggravating than trying to relax and have a good time and hear other people’s loud annoying music. I was hesitant to coming here because of how expensive it is. But after visiting and realizing how well kept this place is and how much fun we all had, it’s definitely worth it. Maybe consider some type of discount for families of 4 or coupons for members or even some type of season pass? Sorry for the long review; love this place and would highly recommend to families looking for a family day.

I took several of my children here today after seeing this place advertised for several years. The grounds were wonderful. The sand was soft, the water was clear, the shade from the mature trees was perfect, along with the grass for lounging. Though we brought our own food, I felt the cost of the food at the concession stand was reasonable. However, there needs to be an adult supervisor ensuring the staff effectively complete their jobs. NONE of the staff members wore masks; in fact, the sign at the entrance states masks are recommended when then the governor has clearly mandated them across the state. Not five minutes after the slides opened, a little girl came off the slide and struggled in the water without the ‘certified lifeguards’ noticing because they were talking. The employees at the top of the slides were not attending to the timing of people going down and several people almost landed on each other at the bottom. The lifeguards at the water were not consistently scanning to ensure all swimmers were safe. One of the lifeguards was staring off to the side of the swimming area for over five minutes. Upon leaving, the five male staff members on the golf cart were too busy motioning and yelling to the staff at the top of the water slides to establish any safety of the customers when crossing the street. As I read your responses to other people’s poor reviews, I can see you don’t care for the reputation of your business anymore than you care for the safety of your customers or employees. It’s sad really that after ‘66 years in business’ you wouldn’t want to continue for another 66 years by taking the criticism and creating something better. Good luck to you and I will make sure to share my experience with anyone that asks about a great place to go with their children.

We went on Friday, August 28th. The weather was perfect. We got there at 8:50am and there was already a line waiting to get in. We unpacked the truck, put in our masks and waited in line. Not everyone was wearing masks (but you can't control what everyone else does). Some staff members also weren't wearing masks, but they maintained a well over 6ft distance. We were ushered thru the gate, one group at a time. After paying we found the perfect table in front of the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very clean and maintained their cleanliness throughout the day (we stayed from 9am-4pm). The picnic tables were spread the perfect distance apart so that you didn't feel like you were sitting on top of your neighbor. It have plenty of room to spread out our blankets and chairs. The slides were great. The grounds to the slides were clean. Social distancing was beyond 6ft (possibly 10ft) and people were kept with their groups in a nice, maintained distance and line. The guards did a great job keep everything moving quickly and efficiently. I would say the longest we waited in line, from bottom wrapped along gate to the top was 15 minutes, max. The lifeguards were all very polite and were great to my four-year-old who wanted to talk and talk and talk. The water in the lake was crystal clear. The sand was not rocky. Only disappointment was the kiddie slide being closed due to low water levels, but that's understandable and beyond any persons control. Overall, we had the most amazing day. We hope to be back at least one more time before school starts and will definitely be back next summer. The idea of a max, limited capacity made it feel like it was never overcrowded and we were able to enjoy ourselves so much more. Keep up the fantastic work!

Great time with the family! The grounds are in great shape and there is plenty of area to play, relax and of course SLIDE! There is also food that you can buy on premises, if you don't feel like packing a lunch. My wife remembers going here when she was a child and she was excited to be able to share the experience with our kids. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Great place- I think 20 would probly be good price / but it’s 22 lol???!!!! to get in for ages 5 to use all 3 areas!!! Which are the lake / waterSlides & the tables I guess!!! And little play area where u can feed the ducks & play in the sand!!!! There are picnic tables where u can bring mini gas grills & cook out! Bathrooms &changing areas! It’s very nice area/ it’s like a family with a lotta property —- living on the lake/ and built the water slides themselves!!! Seems as if -his son & the family run it! It reminds me of Hyytinen Hollow tubes in Charlemont—— if it was on a lake & not a river!!! Lol ?! You can use tubes or floating devices in the water too! Which is very cool!!! & You can use arm floaties on the water slides for younger kids so when they get dunked off end of the slides/ they are goody!!!! & if ur child is under 42 inches long tall/ there is a mini slide for ur kids into the lake... the other 3 100 foot slides are into a shallow pool!!!! Which is fairly warm water / & I guess clearly more warm then lake water was... lol It’s very clean & was bathrooms / etc . We’re being cleaned & maintained throughout day / while we were there!!!! It was a Nice day with family!!! & we met our friends there too, so we had a big group!!! Fun fun fun- for Fourth of July weekend... the air was alil cold ——but we didn’t check the weather in Douglas before hand! & we drove 75 miles.... but—- Kids loved it& they didn’t care it was only 75• degrees —- when we went Friday!!! It definitely lives up to its name—- Breezy—- it’s super breezy when that wind blows.... Lol But We will Def go back!!!! When it’s 90• lol ;) thanks for the good time breezy!!!!
