I take my mover and snow blower once a year for service. Always well done and keeps everything in working order and prolongs its life. They never try to do things that don’t need to be done and you’re very good at communicating which should be done. I like to do business with people that live in work in the community.

I stopped by there for the first time a few months ago on a Saturday and the worker I encountered was somewhat rude. After a brief interaction, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I probably could have given her another chance, but sometimes it's hard to overcome that initial impression. It was an older lady in her late 50s, early 60s. Sorry. She might be a very nice person who was just having a bad morning.
Brought an old walk behind mower to C & S for maintenance and repairs and was totally satisfied. First, I asked them if the mower was viable. To which they claimed it was. Right there is a sign of honesty because they sell new walk behinds at C & S. I needed the blade sharpened, the air filter replaced, the oil changed, and the engine rpm cable replaced. They did it all quickly and at a fair price. Beyond that? The inside of the place itself is a unique, old school, super cool piece of Americana worth checking out to see for yourself.
