Called while everyone was waiting at the rehearsal. Said there was an accident and she couldn’t make it. On the day of the wedding, when I was supposed to walk down the aisle, the planner came in to tell me there was no officiant. I tried to contact her with no luck. We were preparing to have a random cousin who is ordained wing it, but then a “replacement” officiant came in. She was extremely rude and said Kimberly told her to be there at said time, which was when the wedding was supposed to start. She was bland and couldn’t care less about being there. She left before talking with us, handing our misspelled wedding certificate to a guest. Got on Facebook to see Kimberly went on a trip with her husband. Though our wedding was scheduled at least a year before. She ignored my contacts until I tried to post a bad review and promised to mail us our money back. Spent months going back and forth trying to get it back. She kept saying it was coming and never did. Worst experience I’ve had with a vendor. Do not believe all the good reviews.

Kim was great before the wedding. She was super responsive through text message and did a great job at the rehearsal. Unfortunately, she had a family emergency and could not make our wedding. She coordinated another officiant to stand in her place and let our coordinator know. She passed on the ceremony reading to the new officiant and everything went perfectly day of!
My daughter had a horrible experience trying to use Kim. The words that kept coming up through the months leading up to the wedding were flaky and unresponsive. She had one “emergency“ after another right up until the week before the wedding. Never wrote the vows she had promised and said she would not come to the rehearsal. Less than a week before the wedding she said she was in the hospital with MRSA (extremely contagious infection that is resistant to most antibiotics) in her eye but she “expected” to be better by the wedding. They were too nervous about the unreliability she demonstrated and decided to bail and find someone else to do the ceremony at the last minute. They contacted her to see how she was doing and to see if she would be willing to refund at least part of the pre-paid fee but never got a response. From reading the other reviews I feel like she is a scammer.
We can't thank Kim enough for being such an important part of our wedding (5/14/16)! We knew we wanted a genuine, sweet, and confident/experienced officiant at our wedding. I mean you are picking who is going to be MARRYING you on your big day!! That is such a massive part of the wedding and we could NOT have gone with anyone better than Kim! She took the time to get to know us. She made us feel comfortable, like we've known her for years! Our family & friends (including ourselves!) just ADORED her! She is so professional and kind. Picking her as your officiant will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make! We LOVE you Kim!!!
To say Kim is amazing is an understatement. I was having the worst luck finding someone to marry us and 30 days before the wedding I was in full-on panic mode. My (now) husband found her online and sent her an email and she even called and talked to me that night at 11pm on my way home from work. We booked her right then and there. We had an instant connection and with a stroke of luck she was available for our wedding AND our rehearsal despite the short time frame. I tried for months to find someone like Kim that had the experience but also the professionalism and compassion that she does. It was important to me to have someone marry us that cared about who we were and she made me feel like a friend instead of just a client. She even directed me to an amazing hair and makeup team (who by chance also knew our photographer which made our wedding day that much more personal. I felt like we were being taken care of by friends instead of by people we had just met). Kim gave me different options for ceremonies that would work for us or ideas but she wrote a perfect and personal ceremony that had friends of ours that never cry at weddings tearing up. She was there at 2 in the morning to chat and calm my nerves when I was panicking over whatever aspect of the wedding that was stressing me that night and when she came to our rehearsal dinner she fit in with everyone just like family. She was ALWAYS there to answer questions that I had in regards not only to the ceremony but in regards to the wedding itself and to offer advice or just to listen as I ranted. I would recommend her a thousand times over and I can't explain how grateful we are to have gained such an amazing person in our lives. She's become one of my close friends and not only do we love her but so did our guests. I had so many people tell me later how beautiful the ceremony was and how much they loved getting to know her. She was just what we needed at the perfect time.
I don’t have words to express the amount of grief we experienced in dealing with Kimberly. She facebook messaged me less than half an hour prior to the rehearsal saying that she had an issue with another bride, was hours away, and would be unable to attend. She actually said that since our wedding planner was there she didn’t need to be there. She did offer a refund for the rehearsal, but due to the circumstances we didn’t feel confident about the ceremony. I was unavailable so she spoke with the groom who told her that she would need to speak with me later in the evening. I attempted to call twice at 6PM with no response. Thankfully the wedding planner and venue were able to find an alternate, so I sent a message at 9:40AM cancelling for our 5PM wedding. After asking for a refund she said that she would only refund for the rehearsal because of the cancellation clause in the contract. I argued that we only cancelled because of her initial violation of the contract (and in our understanding that caused it to be void), and had we been able to contact her that evening we may have been able to save the relationship entirely. Instead, we cried at the rehearsal, endured a restless night prior, spent the morning of our wedding struggling to find a replacement, and a day of the honeymoon fighting for a full refund and finally compromising for less than half.
