I came here twice. Prices are very good for sup rental, it was 15 hour. Staff is friendly. The boards were excellent, surftech brand, hard boards. The lake has an intense boat traffic, but I don’t have an issue with wake they create. For first timers maybe coming early morning would be best option to avoid waves. I like the lake and the rental shop

Great way to enjoy Claytor Lake! The people that work there are the best! You can store your belongings in their cubbies while you paddle. They carry the boards to the water for you so you can hop on and go!

I recently bout a kayak here, and I have to say it was an extremely smooth transaction. Their customer service is second to none! Any of my kayaking needs in the future this will be the first place I go!
