This is the last fair of the season in our area but the most fun of all!!! I love entering the grange baking contests and looking at all the other entries of homemade canned goods etc. The grange ladies always make fantastic dinners in the evening but you have to get there early because they always sell out! There is also always something exciting going on every night like the truck or tractor pull for the guys to flex their muscles. I think it's the last real outdoor social event of the extended rural area and it's common to run into many friends to chat with...or the just walk around and try to decide what yummy thing you want to eat!
