Great Woodland Photography

CM Ranch is stunning! This past summer I was lucky enough to be selected to be a wedding photographer for an amazing couple who work at CM Ranch and did a back country wedding. Lucky me, I got to stay at the ranch for a few nights and I can't say enough about this amazing spot and the amazing team who work there. All the meals were delicious, the location is beautiful, the horses are so sweet, and the whole team that works there was warm and accommodating. Thank you CM Ranch! I loved my time there, I so appreciate you taking care of me. :) - Taryn

CM ranch is an INCREDIBLE place, my kids love it so much. The people are great, the food is amazing, and the cabins are clean. The things my family has done at CM will stay with us forever. Riding trails with the wranglers was a highlight of all of our lives. We will most definitely be coming back.

One of the best vacations I've been on despite a couple family members getting altitude sickness! The meals are out of this world, the horses are sure footed and well matched to their riders, the scenery is breathtaking and the staff is friendly. They really go out of their way to give you a good experience. Fly fishing is available as well as hiking. You're close to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, but believe me, you won't want to leave to go see it! There's square dancing, camp fires, rodeos and other outings planned. The pool is heated and if you get saddle sore, there's a hot tub. We rode into the badlands and saw bald eagles, golden eagles and big horned sheep. We even spotted a coyote and her cubs on a trail ride. Well worth the trip and the money! We went here as a girls trip, but I can't wait to go back and take my husband. It's just fantastic! Go. You won't regret it!!

The staff at CM ranch is probably the friendliest group of service people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The wranglers are fantastic with all of the children, the managers are on-site and eat with guests daily, and the kitchen wait staff make a point of connecting with each guest at every meal. My son has multiple food allergies and with three weeks notice, the staff was more than able to cater to what he is able to eat. The chef (Bubba) and baker (Danielle) both made special items for him and he was happy to tell me at each meal how delicious his food tasted. The kids in our group all enjoyed meeting the other kids who attended, playing by the creek, and riding the horses. The adults appreciated that there were special rides for the kids, so parents could spend time trotting and looping even if their kids only wanted to walk. I highly recommend spending time here if you are at all able!
