I LOVE the layout of this place compared to the other two in town. It makes sense. The staff is friendly and speedy. I am disappointed that they are no longer doing bottle returns. I will rate 5 star if they start up again.

Nice place to shop and easy enough to get to for residents of Dubuque’s south end. Only thing is that it doesn’t have as extensive a beer/wine/spirits collection as the other Hy-Vees in the area.

Hate COVID, love how Hy-Vee has helped us through it ️ Amazing job for pick up! Thank you!

The Hy Vee location on locust Street is my favorite. There are a number of wonderful employees and the store always looks clean and organized. They have a good selection of vegan, vegetarian, and organic items. They also have a decent grocery store sushi counter and also hot Asian dishes along with pizzas and a Cafe/restaurant style area. They also have a Starbucks.

It's Super Bowl Sunday and frigidly cold, the cars in the grocery pick up area are way backed up and I'm watching these few workers literally running with carts and totes trying to get everyone loaded up. Huge thank you to our grocery workers today and always! As my family eats dinner tonight we'll be giving thanks for you all!
