The store was well stocked. I have a membership at Sam's Club for the bulk pricing. It saves me around 50 or more per month. I do have several concerns now with covid 19 amping up again. First of all they do not sanitize the carts at all. Also there are several self check lanes. No one sanitizer the lanes between customers. There are no sanitizing supplies for customers to use at the checkouts. I always bring my own to use for the safety of my family. I also noticed that the regular checkouts are the same way. The employees do not sanitize the counter, belts, or credit card stations. Very bad. Also, all of the employees are self absorbed and ignore the customers. They always seem overwhelmed and are never friendly. Would it hurt them to say hello, or thank you to us?!?
They do a decent job for a giant discount club center. Pretty good about keeping most items in stock, and it's likely that they don't have 100% controll over the items they can't. They do well with their seasonal items, having a good rotation. Tires and batteries for you vehicle are not bad here either, takes a little bit of time, but its nice that their service records are also shared with every other Sams and every Wal Mart, especially if you travel. 2 things really hurt them when it's busy: The flow of the parking lot and their over sized carts. When its busy, it takes twice as much time to get in and out due to these 2 things. Overall, a positive experience and worth the membership fees
Go in, get your stuff then leave. No frills, just necessities
Dubuque Sam’s club has an excellent staff and a very clean store whenever I visit there. It makes me feel good knowing the staff cares about the cleanliness of the store and their customer experience. Always friendly help from the staff and everything is pretty easy to find and if not they are always glad to help out. Prices are normal and pretty decent and the selection is good too! I’d definitely recommend Dubuque Sam’s Club if you are looking for bulk items for home or your business.
