I went for my third time and was very disappointed with the service and food. Previously, Duke’s had my *all-time* favorite burger. But after such rude and short service, alongside an overpriced menu and drink list, I don’t think I will return. Even the special—10 burger with no side—was dry and bland. I think it sat on the hot plate for a while. It was nothing like the amazing burger I had come to love. And the service was... nonexistent (?). I never had a good experience previously, but this time was especially bad. I don’t think our server cared whatsoever and practically ran from our table without ever checking in. Very disappointed.

Went for brunch and had the Wagu and proper Burger(had a friend's help) which was juicy and delicious. They also have a really good dessert, try the pecan chocolate pie. Service was also pleasant.
Ordered delivery from Duke’s and got the Torta Milanesa (Cubano) Sarnie with a side of fries. The sandwich was excellent! My only note would be that the capicola had a too much gristle for me and I couldn’t enjoy it all. Also, the fries aren’t cooked crispy or anything so just keep that in mind. Overall, I really enjoyed my takeout meal from Duke’s!
Great service, outside dining. 18 for a burger with no sides is a little excessive. That aside, quality was decent ...
This review is for the 17th St. NW, location. The Proper burger was delicious and juicy. They don't have French fries at this location. The "fried chicken" is a breaded patty, not actual chicken parts.
Great place! Friendly staff, outdoor seating is set up with heating lamps that really work. We were able to comfortably take off our jackets. We had a drink and appetizer there and took the burger and mac and cheese to go. Both were delicious.
Gracious service, delicious food. Outdoor dining was set up well for distancing.
Fantastic atmosphere. 2nd time here, first time dining in during covid regulations. Everything was nice and clean, server was amazing wish I could remember the name. Wife had the proper burger and she loved it, I had the Jamaican queen and it was amazing. We will be back!
