I always have a positive experience during my visits. I never feel rushed and my long-time NP Leah E. is extremely patient, kind and listens to me. She is very knowledgeable and I know I am in great hands. I have been going to this practice for many years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is all very nice and professional. Never a long wait and it doesn’t really matter which location you visit. They are all great.

Some of the nicest staff I have ever met including the office staff, sonographer and nurse practitioners. I went there twice in the past few months with an issue that was urgent to me and they made me feel so relieved. They were able to fit me in either that day or within two days. Both times I saw a nurse practitioner and they were amazing. I was concerned that I might have a problem with an iud and they gave me a sonogram and showed the iud was fine (even though the strings were internal, if you know what I mean) and diagnosed a different issue. I also went back to them a month later to remove and replace my iud (it was time to do so). Even though my strings were no longer were they were supposed to be the nurse practitioner didn't rush and was able to remove it skillfully. She said she had never come across an iud, whether internal, etc. that she couldn't \find\, remove, or that needed any additional step (like needing the OB remove it, etc.). She did a great job. I know I saw Ms. Elk the first time, and maybe the second, but again, all of the providers and staff were great. I have used Fairfax OB for over 11 years, including having a C-section by one of their OB's, but had always gone to the Fair Oaks office before (where I also received good care). There always seems to be some turnover in the OB's and midwives but I have always received good care and loved the nurse practitioners and midwives. And again, the Stone Springs/Dulles visits were definitely 5 out of 5. I wrote so much detail about my iud experience (concern over a problem, plus removal with internal strings and replacement) because I know these things can seem very scary to iud users but they did a great job and made me feel so much better.
