This school is HORRIBLE!!!! \Dr\ Burton, the principal is RUDE RUDE RUDE. She is closed minded, she talks to parents as if they were students, and she is a BULLY. She takes up for her staff with NO REGARD for the parents say so. She a GOD complex, and she is a bully to the children. The classes in this school are WAY TOO FULL! The teacher is overwhelmed and my child has to suffer because of it. There is no encouragement for children to act like children. Little kids are expected to behave above their maturity level and it is a Negative & Pessimistic environment! I am looking into homeschooling my child until next year because he is bullied so badly by the staff. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! Understaffed, Overpopulated, and the parent has ZERO say so in their own child's education!

The principal is an amazing leader with vision that surpasses the status quo. The teachers have high expectations for all children and push the to do and be their best. We have. Two boys that have bloomed under Dr. Burton's leadership. The won a national award for excellence in teaching as well!
The principal at BB Harris is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. She allowed my son to get on the school bus even after I notified the front desk and wrote a letter to have my son ride the Kids R Kids bus instead. I really want to take my son out of this school. My son's teacher is very nice and I felt a little comfortable knowing that she care about my son. I witness the principal being rude to her own staff. I just don't understand how the superintendent allow this to go on. Its very sad. I also don't how she can tell me I can't change my son's after school transportation if I need to. I still don't feel like the incident that happened was ever resolved.
I have had a very positive experience at BB Harris. My boys have thrived at this GEORGIA SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE. Dr. Burton and her entire staff are stellar.
I honestly moved to Duluth because of BB Harris and I have loved the school so far until yesterday picking up my nephew at his after school program. Apparently I was not given a number to pick him up and the lady who I don't know her name but I have one way to describe her RUDE!!!!! Yelling at me, rolled her eyes at me. So sad because this school is really awesome but they need to control their staff and how they handle problems
