Great place to ski. Bought our tickets and rental online. Have to go inside to get tickets and then around back to get your rental equipment. Need to wear masks inside, but can leave your shoes inside. Rental staff and ticket counter were very friendly and helpful. Hills are nice and wide, good snow the day we went. The bunny hill is nice since it’s separate and a small incline hill is at the far end so it makes it safe to slow and stop for beginners. Hills were great lots of runs open. Didn’t feel crowded and there were lots of people there on the weekend. Good selection of skill level hills to choose from. Kids wanting to go back soon.

Spirit Mountain Recreation Park has a lot to offer. Alpine roller coaster, zip line ride, mountain biking, hiking, mini golf and more. With an unlimited all day pass you can have a full day of family fun! The alpine coaster is a gravity ride where you control the speed. After the ride down (as fast as you can of course) you have an enjoyable ride back to the top of the mountain. Put Duluth MN on your places to visit and go spend a day at Spirit Mountain. You can come in the winter also and get in some good skiing!

My wife and I spent the day here with understanding that your pick up times for lift tickets are due to your Covid policy, I find it quite unreasonable that we would have to pay full price when our pick up time wasn’t until 12:30 (they open at 9:00) We have been to 3 other resorts in Minnesota this year and none of them have had a policy like this, we asked for a refund for the 3 hours of hill time that my wife and I were unable to enjoy due to there policies since we would be unable to pickup our tickets earlier. They emailed me back with a simple no. Requiring people to purchase tickets for later pick up times at the same rates as the tickets purchased at the earliest pick up time is poor policy. Especially considering other resorts in the area do not have a policy regarding pick up times.

I hadn't been here in 25 years. We were without the kids for a couple of days and we came up to ski a larger hill than what we had around home. We have our own equipment so we didn't rent. We love evening skiing and Spirit didn't dissappoint! The runs were well groomed and not crowded. I had a good time interacting with some of the other customers while we rode the lifts. The staff was more than helpful as well. My only negative had to do with the burger and fries we ordered. They were cold. We would like to bring our kids back if given the opportunity.

Would give zero stars if I could. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to this weekend getaway and being able to go skiing. Being we had never been here before, we were not sure what to expect. The sign in and rentals were difficult to find and staff were not willing to direct or help us, almost as we were bothering them with our questions. Once we finally found our way out to the hills, it was not clear which ones were easy or hard. We finished one hill, and the ski lift to get back up took almost 45 minutes. Once getting up the second hill and starting our way down, I fell and badly injured myself. It took almost an hour for my boyfriend to go down and find help . When I was let off, no apologies or additional help was offered, just a laugh at my injury and a \good luck\. Will never return.
