Foothills SCUBA is a fantastic shop to do business with. Very knowledgeable about brands that they carry and very accommodating. I have been been on 5 charters with them. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we laughed a lot together. They take their time to look for the best spot to dive at that specific moment. They are not stuck on diving in one place and ask for input from their clients to find new and interesting places to explore. I look forward to my next adventure with Foothills SCUBA LLC.

I 1st started scuba diving in 1978. It had been a long time since I had been in the water on a good dive. Actually, many many many years. I stopped by at a new scuba shop in Duncan and talked with the owner Charles Hornack. He invited me to a dive trip at Lake Jocassee coming up in a week and I was welcome to join them. Since I no longer had any gear I rented everything I needed from Foothill Scuba. The equipment was Pristine and much much better than anything I had ever used in the past. On dive day just to be sure I have Charles had his master diver from the shop accompany me on my dive since it had been many years. They were patient, they brought me backup to speed and it was the best day trip I have done in a long long time. This is more than just a small town scuba shop, these are people who love to dive and love to share their experiences. Whether you're brand new to scuba diving, just have an interest or have been diving for decades this shop can help you achieve more than you ever expected. I cannot say enough good things about them because the main reason I stopped diving was an experience I'd had at a much larger shop out a Spartanburg many years ago. These good folks have returned a kindle to my fire and have brought me back to a sport that I loved as a teenager. Thank you Charles and company I look forward to diving with you guys again in the future. I lookfully play on taking many classes with Foothills and purchasing my new retirement from you.

Condones unsafe diving practices. Edit: I am not interested in being your customer nor taking on the liability of diving with you. The video that you posted taking open water equipped (and likely untrained) divers into a cave and down to 150ft portrayed neither safe nor standard practices. I am only posting this as a warning for others.

If I could give the owner of this shop less than 1 star, I would. It's super unfortunate that shops who are supposed to be enforcing the rules are the ones promoting the most extreme and unsafe practices, in caves.

Promotes dangerous and unsafe activity in the Florida springs. If you're not a trained cave diver stay out of the caves.
