Park was nice and staff was friendly. We were only able to do the tubing since tubing and water hole are not in same place, about 5 miles away. Next time go to water hole first and then to tubing area. We still made the best of it. Floated down the river to where you started. More like 1 to 1.5 hrs on float. Saw a small alligator and a river otter. Give you time to talk to you family and enjoy seeing nice river homes on was down. Alittle over priced but not too much. Wish were able to enjoy other part of park but it was max on limited capacity and they would not let us in.

We had a great time and the area is beautiful, but I felt that amenities were lacking for a state park. I saw no interpretive material to educate people about the area, wildlife etc. I kind of expected a state park would want to educate its visitors but I didn't see a single sign to tell us what we might see/ experience. The only sign I saw was the sign telling what wasn't allowed on the river. I also found the website quite lacking regarding information on what to wear, bring, leave behind etc, which made it tricky to properly plan for. I agree with other reviewers here who have said it's impossible to get through on the phone to get your questions answered. They should offer lockers (for rent) at the tubing headquarters so people can secure valuables like car keys and phones. Lastly, not knowing what to expect, I was a bit disappointed that for the entire trip one side of the river was basically along people's back yards. I expected to see more nature (after all, we were in a State Park! ), not docks and lawn ornaments. Even my 8 year old kept asking when we would get away from houses and see more natural views.

Crystal clear water! The state park makes it easy and they are very friendly! Just drive up with bathing suit and sunscreen. Remember: no disposable containers allowed! So sandwiches and drinks need to go in hard reusable containers.

Our trip started out a little rocky due to covid-19. The park is running at half capacity, we called ahead to find out what the process was and make sure we would be able to float knowing it was a weekend so they tend to be busy. We get there and are told they are closed for the day. After being told on the phone that we could wait and as cars came out they let more cars in. We were asked to leave or risk being fine from the county sheriff. After 1hr and many arguments we were finally able to float. Big thank you to a sweet employee named Jade at the front gate for being friendly and understanding!!! We got a lot of misinformation and back and forth answers. She was the only one who was friendly and calm. Trying her best to work out a tough situation. Once we got in the gate everything was smooth and wonderful!! Greeted by a friendly tram driver and we were on our way for a 2 hour crystal clear 72* float down beautiful rainbow river! We saw otters, Gar, loons and a little gator! Great day for our family!

Our kiddos had a blast. What an enjoyable fun thing to do as a family. Can't wait until our 2 year old is 5 so he can join us. The tube rental place did a great job. You can bring your own tube... But still have to pay for the trolley to the launch pad. Worth it.
