My kids have been attending for more than two years and counting. Nothing but positive experience. A lot of individual attention to each child. One of my children had issues with self control and likes to good around, I really appreciate how they helped him to learn how to better focus and concentrate.

Kaikudo is AMAZING! Our son has been involved for 6 years and we are so thankful. The teachers are extremely patient and excellent at teaching at the varied levels of students. In addition to the techniques, they really focus on teaching the children discipline and leadership, as well. They are also very low pressure and don't require significant contracts. I highly recommend you give them a try!
The sensai here are very helpful and they treat the kids very well. The teaching methodology are very good and give attention to each students. They work on the weaknesses of the students and help them to overcome and learn the karate better.
Life is a bit hectic for me between work, errands, and household projects. But I allow myself 1 sacred hour on Saturday for my chi gong class. I've been taking chi gong at Kaikudo Academy for several years now. This is the place where I come to breathe. The exercises are gentle but effective. Michael Issa, the instructor, has a clear strong teaching voice, which I can still hear in my head while practicing at home -- "shoulders down; spine straight..." And he's not just teaching the class -- he's all about it. He knows all the nuances of each exercise as well as the history of the practice. If my time were my own, I would take more of his classes.
We happened upon Kaikudo one day while in the plaza and decided to step in and take a look. After watching one class my kids and I both agreed that this was the best place for them to learn Karate. The staff are super friendly and apply the right amount of training, discipline, and fun that make for a well rounded atmosphere for learning.
I highly recommend Kaikudo Martial Arts Academy. I myself go to the Taiji class there and am extremely impressed with the instructors' ability to break down the movements and enable students to practice this ancient Chinese art very authentically. My children are in the martial arts class and they get a great training both physically and mentally!
These gentlemen are the most caring and knowledgeable people I know. They go out of their way to make sure the children are getting what they need. They work with you what ever problem or concerns arise: even when its not in the preview of martial arts. They are amazing.
Today, I had my first class in Karate with Mr.John. He is a great teacher, supportive, and encouraging. Although it lasted for an hour and a half, I truly felt differently after we finished. Can’t wait till our next one. Thank you.
