Great rafting experience. Our guide, Cheddar, was very professional and knowledgeable while being fun. Went as a group of four with two kids and ended up in our own boat. Cheddar asked us questions about our experience and kept checking in with the kids to make the trip exciting but not to crazy. A few things we noticed that set Mountain Waters Rafting apart from others on the river. We all had helmets (really important) while other companies make the optional. We had fewer people in our boats (really smart during s global pandemic). Masks were required when not on the water. They took cleaning and social distance seriously.

We had a great time on the water even though the water level was pretty low. Billy and Sydney were wonderful tour guides! We went with our 15 and 12 year old kids.

The guides were all so great with the little kids that can be hard to deal with. Brenna was awesome and everyone in my group had WAY more fun than we thought we would! I would definitely recommend this rafting company to anyone. If I’m ever back in Durango, they will be first on my list ️️️

My family and I went white water rafting with Mountain waters rafting. Our guide was Kyle and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. Kyle was the BEST rafting guide! He made us feel safe and we had SO much fun! Not only was he the best guide, he told us some hilarious facts about the city on the way down, which made it so much more enjoyable! Also, the guide in the bus ride up made the crowd laugh the whole way up to our rafting destination. My family and I HIGHLY recommend this company. P.S TIP YOUR GUIDE!!

My family and I had a wonderful time rafting with Mountain Waters Rafting. We had two younger kids in our group and our guide, Syd, did an amazing job making sure they felt safe while still having a great time on the rapids. Syd was an outstanding guide and went above and beyond to make sure our family had a blast while rafting. The snacks they provided were delicious! This was a great intro into rafting as the water was low and the rapids were between 2-3 the whole time. If you are visiting Durango, you should definitely hit up this spot with your family and request Syd the Squid as your guide!
