I moved to the Raleigh/Cary area for an internship, and quickly realized how expensive this entire area was. I was referred to check out Alcove, and MAN am I glad I did. Not only could I sign a 3 month lease, they also worked with me to turn that 3 month lease into a 6 month once my internship turned into a job. I was able to meet some really great roommates thanks to their roommate pairing process. My favorite part of alcove is having everything that relates to living there as one price. I recommend anyone who’s looking for an easy, safe, and clean moving experience to check out Alcove!

It was my first time renting a room through Alcove. When the quarantine started I had just moved to Durham. They were able to get me into a really nice home in just a few days and followed all the right COVID protocols when touring and meeting roommates. I appreciated it when I was able to talk to potential roommates before moving in to avoid any major issues. When I did move in, my roommates were super friendly and receptive to my needs in the kitchen (peanut allergies, etc.) Even though the dishwasher leaked a few times, alcove sent maintenance out pretty fast. I also liked the area a lot, Durham is great. I really appreciated the help I got from Brittany on the support team when moving in and out! It was a good 6 months there. Thanks again!
My room was in a nice home near downtown Raleigh. I was able to secure the spot before moving down here from NY so that was pretty cool Roommates were friendly but I didn't see them much with my work schedule
I've been so thoroughly pleased by my experience with the friendly professionals at Alcove! Ava and both Brittany's (lol, "Brittanies"?) have been super helpful every step of the way. They were highly responsive from the beginning, and cheerful and straightforward. Once we started looking at places, they got to know me and what I was looking for and made a personal recommendation that was spot on! I love my loving situation. Renting a room with Ava's Alcove was quick, easy and stress free. They have many great locations to choose from and they're really kind, which is what you need as moving is stressful. My location is perfect. I've been here since Nov and I haven't had any issues. They respond swiftly to any questions or concerns and my roommates and I get along well. I tell everyone I know about them and what a great experience I'm having.
I found myself needing to move ASAP and couldn’t imagine how I was going to find anything affordable in the area. Thankfully I came across Alcove and they was a lifesaver! Ava was super attentive and made herself available for touring properties around my schedule. At first it felt like every home I loved already had multiple applications, but I persisted and with the help of Ava, Brittany, and pretty much the entire staff I was able to lease the master bedroom in a BRAND NEW townhome just minutes from work! Flat AFFORDABLE monthly payment, with utilities and cleaning service included, made working with Alcove a dream come true. It’s been six months and I’m still so very happy with my home!
I’ve been living in my Alcove for about three months now, almost 4, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is affordable, my roommates are nice, private people, the house is beautiful, and whenever I have needed something from the Alcove team , I’ve gotten help in a timely manner. Not only do I plan on renewing my lease when the time comes, but I would and have recommended Alcove to some of my friends who are looking for a place as well!
I moved to NC and needed a place ASAP. They went above and beyond to make sure I found a place that I liked and they got me the room quickly. The value you get for your money is amazing. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I notified them at the end of my lease that I would like to resign the lease. I went to do so and the website was taking forever to load. So I was going to do it another time. One week later and they let someone else sign the lease for my room and didn't bother to tell me that that was a possibility even though I let them know personally that I would like to resign, it didn't matter, and instead what mattered was doing it through the website. So now I have to abruptly find a new place and move in in 8 days
