Great atmosphere! My wife didn't want any alcohol, so the bartender made her an excellent strawberry lemonade while we waited for our table. Our server was prompt and courteous, and the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail. Hoping to try the 3-course chef's special next time.

I've had the pleasure of eating at Revolutions twice. The food was great. I'd recommend confirming your reservation in advance. On my second visit, my reservation was not logged correctly and my family (including toddler) had to sit at the bar. It was strange because they did have tables in the dining area and bar area that went unused during our visit.
I want to start off by saying that I would have given this place 5 stars. The service, drinks, and appetizers were wonderful. Even the salmon entrée my husband ordered was excellent. I ordered the "chicken fried" sirloin. This was the most godawful thing I have had in a very long time. I am southern, so I know good fried food. This was a horrible representation of that. There was no seasoning AT ALL and the meat was extremely over cooked. It tasted as if someone fried the sole of a shoe and served it to me. What was most upsetting is the fact that everything else we had, including the potatoes served with the fried shoe, were wonderfully seasoned. This place knows how to make good food. They failed miserably with this item. It was depressingly bad, and they charged 26 dollars for this. Unfortunately, my husband would not allow me to say anything. I would have sent it back after the first bite. Truly terrible.
Came here on Valentines Day. They had a very interesting Valentine's Day menu in which my wife and I both enjoyed our three course meal. Service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
From far the very best restaurant I have tried in Durham. I chose to be surprised by the chef by selecting their 3 courses "feed me" option for 40. And... Wow. No other word. Just wow.
This is my FAVORITE place to go for a bit to eat and drink before I head to a show in Durham. My favorite place to park is at the bar, where I can enjoy a glass of wine and a couple of appetizers. My favorite pairing so far was the steak tartare with the octopus salad - my version of surf and turf. Whether you're alone or with a party of 14, Revolution always delivers top of the line food and service!
Wanted to eat a good meal before catching the show at DPAC last night, so I made a reservation for 2 online. Showed up a little early but our table was still ready. The atmosphere was comfortable but not overbearing. Greg waited on us and was absolutely fantastic. Both of our plates and the appetizer were all well prepared and delicious, and we hardly had to wait for them to arrive. Extremely good first experience with Revolution. Looking forward to our next visit.
I have been to Revolution twice, and both visits were great experiences. Good food and service, nice surroundings. Wish I could afford to go more often!
