Joel and all the team at VMC did an amazing job on our new dock! They were professional and kept us in the loop the entire process, from the paperwork to the build. Joel and his crew are awesome! I'm a contractor myself, so I know good work when I see it. I was extremely lucky to get my covered boat slip as quick as I did, because Joel is in high demand. And, there's a reason for that. He takes real pride in his work. He was out there working with his men almost every day ensuring that the work was done right. You just don't see that very much these days. It can make him a little difficult to get a hold of at times, but it's because he's actually working on a job site. I will have no one else do my waterside contracting other than Virginia Marine Contracting. Their work is exceptional and will not disappoint.
Joel and his team were wonderful. We our so pleased with our experience from start to finish. April in the office was terrific, she kept us informed every step of the way. They were timely, respectful and very neat. They left the yard the same way it was found. I would recommend them to anyone!!
We contacted this company to build a dock and boathouse because of the great reviews. However, after 3 messages and 1 email, with no response at all, I have no choice but to rate them a 1.
VMC did an amazing job and went beyond our expectations on transforming our old tired dock and boat lift into what we now jokingly call our Marina, complete with a Mimi platform for crabbing with the Grandkids.
