I walked in to buy some seeds. An older lady that works there approached me and asked if there was anything she could help me with. I said nope just browsing. Seeming very suspicious of my response, She responded with, “this is a weird store to just be looking around”. Well I laughed it off and made a sarcastic remark back. I’m not 100% sure if she thought I was homeless or I looked up to no good, but that’s the way it felt. When you’re working on multiple projects and need multiple tools, equipment, and project material, then a hardware store is the perfect place to just browse and compare pricing. I wouldn’t have posted anything. But I grabbed my seeds and brought them to the check out, where I was greeted with another unwelcoming face of a lady with a nasty attitude. These 2 interactions have bugged me all day. All I did was walk into the store to shop around, didn’t say much.

EXCELLENT service today from Bridgette via the paint department. I wanted to use the curbside pick-up, but wasn't exactly sure what was available in the store. She was very patient in checking things, even reading some of the instructions. And then, when I came for pick up and asked about adding another item to the order she was quite accommodating. That kind of care is so good for business because it makes me want to return. Bridgette added extra to an already outstanding service by her whole attitude.
Everybody there is knowledgeable and friendly and the Santa display is pretty awesome considering our current circumstances
I came to Duvall because my kids were losing their minds after go to the park and I knew I could get a few things for the house and a few knickknacks for them. I love the diversity of the shopping at it is it makes it easy and low stress. The staff was extremely patient (as a mom was running around with two toddlers) and super helpful seeing me struggle with what items I needed to fix our Rv piping. Needless to say in Covid measures they take extreme precautions with handwashing stations at the front and alcohol wipes for the carts. It’s not too busy but great layout and easy to find product aisles. And last but not least a wide variety Of Christmas gifts and decorations! If you’re in Duvall I need pretty much anything ace is your place!
Duvall Hardware is the best place to find a replacement for that obscure bolt that you lost or broke as part of your most recent project. Thanks!
