This place has lost its value in the process of making profits. It was one of favorite place for any occasion about couple of years ago but things have gone horribly wrong with the new owner. Foods are overpriced and horrible taste. Why do they ask for tip for to go orders??? Cheap business! This is in response to the reply of “Mr Owner “ ! Mr Owner didn’t I say it was my favorite place for all occasions couple of years before ? Did you misread that? In fact I had a very good rapport with many of the restaurant members. Few of them know my choice of orders, my choice of drink and even they used to recognize my voice when I call for pick up orders. For all office parties persis was my first choice. Yes none of the staff members ask for tip at least the ones I knew personally. But before writing all the garbage you should have checked your card swiping machine.

If you are looking for an authentic Indian restaurant in Minneapolis, this is THE Place. When I came to Minneapolis, one year ago, this restaurant happened to be the first Indian restaurant I had visited, and back then, I did not like it much. But after trying most of the Indian Restaurants in Minneapolis, this restaurant comes closer to 'authentic Indian Restaurant in Minneapolis'. Cooking Biryani is a real test for the Chef, due to its complex preparation process. If Biryani is good, by far, all the other dishes would be good too. Here Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani will not disappoint you. Meat in Mutton biryani could be more moist and tender. Meat is not separating to the bone as it used to be. Service and the meat quality is good. Ambience is not so great but acceptable. Will visit again!
