Power Watch Systems installed a great Generac generator at our home. It is connected to the entire house through a transfer switch and all circuits are activated when the power goes out automatically. The generator self-tests itself weekly and is very reliable. Other than the yearly service there have been no maintenance issues required. The unit was sold and installed by the Power Watch Systems. I highly recommend them. Very honest!
We have been customers of Power Watch for over 15 years. We have the same whole-house generator installed back then, and it has been extremely reliable. It is important to keep up with the annual maintenance to make sure the spark plugs and oil are changed (and whatever magic they do to keep it running!). The 325 fee surely beats replacing two refrigerators worth of food! Last year, we had the battery replaced for the first time in 15 years. It tests itself weekly on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Having a generator gives us peace of mind especially with the crazy weather patterns we have been experiencing! You will not regret the purchase OR the company who sells and services the generators. Thank you to the Power Watch staff!
Please be an educated consumer and shop around for maintenance contracts for the Generac generator. Generac gives you a list of service companies in your local area. Comparing apples to apples, the delta in maintenance contracts fees is astounding. I should have down this years ago.
