This was our first nudist campground experience. We felt at home from the moment that we arrived. The people there are very friendly and welcoming. We've met some wonderful people each time we've visited. The facilities are very nice and are kept clean. We enjoy walking the grounds including the hiking trails each morning. There's something for everyone to enjoy while there. A fabulous pool, hot tub and sauna. There is pickle ball, petanque, and sand volleyball. The activities they plan (dances, block parties, bingo at the pool, etc) brings everyone together and it feels like a what I imagine neighborhoods used to feel like before we all got so busy. We highly recommend Avatan.

I stayed here a weekend last summer with my girlfriend for the first time at a nude location. Clean campground with grass, great pool and hot tub and super nice, inviting people. We felt comfortable and had a nice experience.
