Just adopted two new puppies from Second Chance. The staff was very professional, kind, knowledgeable and made the adoption process vey smooth. We have been looking to add a new addition to our family for quite a while and we could not thank them enough. It was wonderful to see the pups and be able to interact with them and pick a great match, especially during these tough times the staff took all precautions and still made the experience great! We adopted our dog from Second Chance in 2018. They were extremely nice & patient unlike some other shelters visited. There was no underlying rush to choose a pet and zero judgement. Their costs were lower than other shelters AND they microchip! Our dog was 1 of a litter of 3 puppies. Danny (formerly Black Sabbath!) is now 2 1/2 and we couldn’t be happier!
They never have dogs, for one. The people who work there act like they own the animals and have known them their whole lives and what the dogs need or want. Go to Craigslist. Looked this morning and now we have a beautiful black Shepard puppy relaxing with us in our home.
Just adopted Delicata now Buddy on 12/23/2030. He’s so smart and an absolutely perfect puppy. The process wasn’t bad if you fill out the application online before going in. The wait can be a bit long but totally worth it. They are taking Covid seriously hence the wait. I’ve chosen to continue using Second Chance vet and utilize the app. The staff was king and helpful.
The staff were very friendly and they made the adoption process easy. Absolutely in love with my new pup ️
