I really like this place and they seem to turn over their inventory pretty quickly. I often find a wonderful little mid-century find. They have a lot of picture frames and decorative items as well as some furniture. I can easily kill 30 minutes there a couple times a month. The owner is very nice and seems to know a lot of her customers.

I love this store. The new location is even bigger and better than ever!! Go when you have time to really look around, so you don't miss any must-haves. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of merchandise and customer service is great! Great opportunity to support Kathy's small, Local Business.

Family owned and run. A pleasant consignment store with great possibilities for expansion. Owner is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with customers. A good local resource for gently used clothing, antiques, furniture, handbags, luggage, some children's clothing, other miscellaneous items. I support this local business and try to "shop locally" when I am able. This business is listed on Facebook. I would recommend it highly to anyone and everyone.

This is one of my favorite shops! I can always find some new treasure for myself or my home and such great deals! Kathy knows how to arrange her merchandise in such eye catching ways- it's so much fun to shop here. You owe it to yourself to check it out :)

Nice stuff for the most part. Lady tries her hardest to make the sale. But I did notice a picture frame from the dollar tree marked 5 so know your stuff.

This consignment shop has something for everyone whether you are looking for that vintage piece for a particular room in your house or whether you are looking for that one article of clothing to make an outfit perfect. A New Beginning has items that are brand new and items that are vintage to gently used. Everything Kathy consigns is top notch, some items have designer labels and are new with tags! When you walk in the store it always has a great scent because Kathy sells Woodwick candles at wholesale and usually one is burning brightly to welcome you into the store. Kathy runs a sale on a weekly basis so chances of getting a good deal are high. The next time you are driving along Rte9 & 20 near K-Mart Plaza in Rensselaer/East Greenbush, stop and check it out. Stay a while so you can peek into every nook and cranny. You don't want to miss that one item you can't live without. You won't be disappointed.
