By far the worse school on EARTH! They’re beyond unorganized yet still accepting students. The nursing program is a JOKE! The whole stone academy is a damn joke !!!! If you enjoy being self taught this is a place for you.

Mr Pryce the Campus Director is honestly the best omg I started the LPN program at Stone Academy in the East Hartford location. Everything was ok until Covid 19 hit us which I was totally not prepared for whatsoever my IMAC was being repaired at the mall which was closed for months because of the pandemic. I was in no position to buy a new laptop or any of that. So I reached out to Mr Pryce and explain to him that I have no way of doing my classes online because I have no access to a computer at home. He told me to give him a few days he’s going to take care of it. Remind you this man is being called 24/7 , he’s in and out of meetings dealing with hundreds of other students. I kid you not he called me few hours after speaking with him that day and told me he’s trying to pull some strings and not to worry that he has a laptop he can give me now to do my online classes in the mean time to come and pick it up . Yes he called me back that very same day with a laptop at the school waiting for me . When I tell you how I relieve I was to see that this man goes above and beyond for his students and that he truly cares about students success I was truly amazed. Aside from Mr Pryce you also have some truly amazing teachers there as well Mr. M And MISS Hoover are two of the best teachers in my Eyes. I passed my Exit Exam and now waiting to take Nclex then eventually graduate Stone Academy has truly changed my life and I recommend this school to anyone who wants to do nursing as well because you have some amazing staff there who truly cares about the students and not only there for a pay check. Speaking of checks Mr Pryce I’m going to buy you lunch out of my fist nursing job check to tell you thank you once again for helping me get thru to the end . Thank yoooouuuu

If you're considering the PCS program, go for it. You learn all the skills you need and extra which ensures success as long as you personally are responsible and do your part to learn. Ms. Davis was a fantastic instructor along with the rest of the staff that made this experience memorable.

Friendly and kind staff members will help you become a nurse. They cannot do the work for you though. Also, if nursing is not for you, they cannot make that happen either. But if you have made up your mind, definitely go for it. I paid my student loan off in less than a year, that should not be a worry to keep you from moving forward. When I was doing the program, if I heard a complain, it was from a student who literally could not add. I don't know how they got their high school diploma, and let me tell you, they taught them the math and everything else they needed to know it they were willing to help themselves first. Best of luck to you all!
