A nice museum with operating trolleys, subway cars, and other rolling stock in addition to static exhibits (such as the station house at the end, a PATH car recovered from the aftermath of 9/11, and so on). The trolleys run on a beautifully preserved line surrounded by nice landscapes and nature.

Fantastic visit to the trolley museum for the pumpkin patch. We took our almost 2 year old and he had such a great time. The trolley was open-air and all exhibits were outdoors or with appropriate ventilation. The conductor gave a mini-tour of the grounds and explained the operations to us. Young children, I would say 7 and under, would enjoy, but older kids might be looking for a little more excitement. My son loved riding on the trolley, walking through and touching old trolleys, visiting all the "spooky" decorations, and picking his own pumpkin. It was a little over-priced in my opinion, but I think in these times it was understandable. Highly recommend for a family day out!

This museum is just amazing! The conductors are incredibly educated and willing to answer any questions. The trolley ride is very beautiful and the stop at the yard is just incredible. It was a so eerie when given a tour for the subway car that survived 9/11.

One of the most unique museums you can visit. A wide collection of both restored and operable railroad , subway cars , buses and trolleys. They have special events and special days you can actually operate some of the rolling stock they have down a 2 mile line, which is a unique experience that leaves a smile on your face. The rolling stock they have is from all over the country and with some noteworthy additions from the NY Subway system that you can actually operate on certain days. Well worth a visit!

We had a great last adventure before school starts!! We got to ride the Trolleys and walk around the trolley yard. Absolutely amazing experience getting to ride in a piece of history as well as taking a walk-through history within the trolley yard. Great family day at a low cost!
