LOVE East Lake Vet!!! The medical expertise combined with the compassion of Dr. Fling, Kate Wagner and the entire staff makes East Lake an amazing choice for all of your veterinary needs. Each animal is treated with super specialness. Also, their commitment to the community with their animal rescue is astounding. Thanks to them I have my precious new family member \Chloe\!!! My family has found East Lake Veterinary Hospital to be untrustworthy. On multiple occasions on different animals I found unauthorized and unnecessary procedures charged to my bills. Additionally, there were charges for take home items that were never given. This puts into question were the procedures and services done behind the scenes actually done. They have a practice of not giving a actual total for simple procedures and then layering on what other clinics include. Example, for my kitten, they charged 300 for spaying but then also charged an additional 700 for anestesia, gauze, anti swelling medicine, and medical instruments used in the procedure. For my dog's teeth cleaning they quoted 400 for the procedure to put her under, clean the teeth, but then charged an additional amounts totalling 1,200 (after a 1,500 credit) for additional services including a random fecal test, which was never discussed or approved.... during a teeth cleaning. They do love their animals, but unfortunately they've lost the trust of this family after repeated examples of dishonesty. Be advised.

We adopted a kitten from the East Lake Pet Orphanage and continued to use them as our vet. They have been absolutely wonderful. We are new pet owners and they have been so helpful and available to answer our questions at any time. You can tell the truly care about each animal.

The vet I had been seeing is gone unfortunately. He was the only reason I continued to go to this location. The other doctors on staff are okay but do not seem to have the same compassion. They are grossly overpriced and the desk staff is rude, apathetic and just generally make you feel like an unwelcome nuisance. I will sadly be on the look for a new place to take my pets.

Nurse Paula was amazing!! She truly cares about her patients. She thoroughly explained tests, medications and answered all my questions. I’m so grateful to have been to Eastlake.
