To get in touch with this department is harder than getting in touch with the President of the United States. I have been calling for almost two weeks now from 7:55am until closing time and keep getting the \overwhelming number of calls and to try to call again later\ message. I tried to comply with their request to prove my identity online and I got the \Page not found\. I tried to login to my EDD account and got the \The password or email provided do not match our records\ message. The question now is: Am I going to be prosecuted for benefits I am not getting ( I did not qualify) because EDD claims that my account might be fraudulent? This Institution is a disgrace. Any Help option provided by EDD is useless.

I've called for a week everyday every hour. I get tired.. still can reach anyone. They claim they've ramped up on employees. Well it doesn't seem like it. I cant work because of covid. Maybe they should get bank ok america to help because they are making millions off this edd payments.

this is an absolute shame while my 3 year old son and i are struggling to put food on the table and keep a roof above our heads these people cannot do there jobs right iv called over 120 time this morning and every time it says sorry we are not accepting calls. just know that your incompetent employees are enjoying being nice and warm inside a building and getting paid to do absolutely nothing but give attitude to people that are in need because no fault of there own. just think of people like my son and i when we are sleeping in our car because help was to late
