The hardware store always has what you need. If you have some obscure item you are looking for, they will probably have it. The firearms section is great and the people are helpful.

I checked in their own website regarding the hours and they stated that they closed at 6. Arrived at 4:02 to find that they closed at 4:00. I knew exactly what I needed so I figured they could help me quickly. The people inside the store stared at me and did nothing. You simply can’t change your hours and not update your website. Drove all the way from Islip for nothing

Love this store. They have a much larger selection than you think, it's usually nicer quality than Ace (5 minutes away), and it's nice to be able to run in here quickly instead of having to go all the way to Home Depot to get things like drill bits and screws. All of the counterpeople are very friendly.

Been a longtime customer at the store for Homebrew supplies and hardware needs, however ventured into the fire arms section yesterday, was greeted by a grumpy rude old man who basically yelled at me for walking in, how was I supposed to know they only let one person at a time in? He spoke down to me the entire time I tried to be overly polite and respectful (I still bought the ammo I came there for way over priced .223) . Sorry Karps you officially lost a customer and I will no longer recommend the store. Treat your customers well and if you have a known rude employee have them work the back office making no contact
