I never got to experience the work of any doctor here. If you read most of the reviews that are 1’s you’ll see why. The experience is mostly about the practice. I went to east bay surgery to get an estimate for how much it would cost out of pocket for wisdom teeth removal. I arrived on time, called and was asked to wait outside for a long time. I was told we can’t have more than one person in the waiting room at a time due to COVID . Which I completely respect because I have immediate family members with COVID right now. When I was finally told to come in they had me seated and someone randomly walked in discussing a bill they owed with a portion now and the rest later. They sat with no mask next to me. The doctor that saw me for a few mins after he received the x rays from my dentist. He explained to me what to expect on procedure day. He then walked out of the room for almost 30mins without checking back with no further instruction. I ended up having to leave without being seen because I had been there for almost 4 hours and that’s a half day of work. They told me to watch a video online on the procedure if I wanted . I asked them if I owed anything for the visit. I was told no and that I should expect something in the mail about an estimate. 3 months go by I call. Still haven’t received the estimate . The words were “ it was most likely sent this week” . And then I owe 75 for the estimate and the visit that they billed my insurance but didn’t get a reply. Oddest thing I ever heard .. I ended up paying 75 just to never hear from them again.

What an incredible experience! I had a tooth pulled here yesterday and today the pain is minimal, the swelling is minimal, the procedure with paperwork was 1hr. They took every precaution against Covid, they were patient and kind and answered every question and concern I had. This was the best experience I’ve ever had related to my teeth and I can’t recommend this place enough.

This place was by far one of the worst place I’ve ever been. I was literally being underestimated and second guessed about my insurance benefit eligibility during my visit. I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed that I had to leave the place without being evaluated.
