Such a cute little zoo out in the country! We loved walking around the park with our kiddos and enjoying all the animals! There were even farm animals, including miniature goats and cows, that wandered around the property that the kids could pet and feed. They have a nice little playground and picnic tables. Definitely recommend for a nice afternoon in the country!!

Excellent small zoo. Animals well cared for and the owner is quite friendly. Great place for all ages.

We drove out from Mckinney today, it was a quick drive and easy to find. This is a fun place, they had a lot of animals. We were able to feed the giraffe (he was super sweet and took the carrots gently from our hand) and the monkeys (they were super funny and would catch the carrots as you toss them in the cage) the have a cute potbelly pig that followed us and made us laugh more than once while we were there, and the baby cow is adorable and so gentle! Alligators were not super active (we expected this as the website says they are less active in the winter months) we definitely would give us place another try. The only downside was the girl working the guest/store entrance. She was rude. Acted openly annoyed when asked questions by us or the other families there. The baby alligator place was not open and when she was asked simply where it was located she snapped “it’s not open right now because I’m the only one working”. When we purchased additional carrots to continue feeding the giraffes and the monkeys she actually rolled her eyes, she just acted extremely annoyed we were there bothering her. We were never greeted her thanked for visiting. As I said we will try visiting again and hopefully this employee will have a better outlook regarding visitors/customers or has moved on and found a job she enjoys.

My family absolutely loved this park. Yes it was scary and intimidating to be within a few feet of the enclosed gators, but it was so much fun. The different animals from around the world was an exciting surprise for us. If the East TxZoo and gator park didnt have them there, then I probably would have never seen them up close. The Anaconda snake was the most shocking to me. This place is so fascinating and educational and fun. Surprise after surprise it was incredible. We are going back soon to visit for sure.

LOVED IT!! Will definitely be going back. It is small, but that only makes it better. Some of the animals will let you pet them (at your own risk obviously) the baby room was awesome as well. You get to pet/hold some of the baby animals. Overall, It's worth going at least once.
