We had such a great experience at Mahzu in East Windsor. The waiter was great and the chef was amazing. It might have been one of our best hibachi experiences. I have never seen my children so happy and they had the best time. Thanks for the experience! We will definitely back sooner than later.

Very extensive menu featuring endless choices of special rolls, classic rolls, maki, no-rice rolls, sushi, sashimi, chirashi, as well as extensive line-up of hibachi dinners, teriyaki and tempura dishes. The pricing is very forgiving, lower than what some of the area competitors offer. The food quality was very decent and fresh, no complaints. That's what we liked about the place. There are certain things that we didn't. The restaurant should do a better job at packaging its products; some of our no-rice rolls were negligently placed in a bigger container and - free floating - arrived to us in an unappetizing condition. Also, our Kani salad was just a layer of sliced daikon radishes beneath a layer of sliced crab stick topped with a blob of mayo; the restaurant never bothered to mix it. Also, some descriptions didn't fit the actual product. For examples, every roll that came advetized as having tobico, one needed a microscope to find any. However, the good outweighed the bad, and we hope Mahzu East Windsor will improve its packaging soon.
Amazing. Some of the best Japanese food ever, and very reasonable affordable price. They have a box with a mix of things for 20, specialty deluxe rolls for 10. Friendly staff. Just tried for 1st tome tonight and now my favorite restaurant in the area.
So happy this place is open again! I highly recommend the kani salad & the crab tempura I also like the AK-47 n Spider Roll
We love Mahzu! The Philadelphia roll is my favorite, and the hibachi is excellent. Nice family environment and a lot of fun. I don't think anyone there is actually Japanese, but that's ok. And the hibachi noodles are incredible.
