This credit union has been so incredible and has made it very easy for younger people like me and my husband to get loans to be able to purchase our two cars. They have given advice on how to increase credit scores and limits and have always been so helpful with answering my questions. Definitely would recommend doing business with them!

I went in for a Home equity line of credit, I still have the denial letter, and they said I did not qualify, because of income to debt ratio, then turned around and gave me a personal loan with the same payment. I talked with Leah, and she could not explain what happened and still has not explained what has happened after 6 months. How about telling all the people that read these reviews what has happened Leah? By the way my credit score was 758, higher than the national average, I received my credit reports from Equifax and Trans Union and Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union did not even do a credit check, come on Leah explain how that happened too. Updated 9/25/2020, oh yes I am from the big City that explains it and age discrimination is ok here in little town. Lets explain more, I got a personal loan and paid it off, got another personal loan and paid it off, then applied for the Home line of credit, got turned down, then they gave me another personal loan. Come on Eastern you answered Jake how about answering me? 1/13/2021 I still have not heard from you Leah, and the demand from NCUA didn't go well for you I guess. I am thinking since you and your husband did a house flip you didn't like the idea I was going to do a house flip, that just might be competition against you and your husband.

This is the worst bank I've ever had experience with in credit lending. My girlfriend got her credit card INFORMATION stolen and the frauds maxed out her card and the bank told her it is her responsibility! You owe us 5,000! Totally against the federal trade commission guidelines. They and their fraud department told her that there is nothing they can do at all. The law states that it is not an individual's responsibility if their credit cards information is stolen, yet EIFCU is putting it on her back. I wouldnt recommend anyone do any business with Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union. They take advantage of their customers. I had my CC's info stolen, shortly afterwards and my bank told me not to worry. We got you covered. Dont want to sound like a commercial, so I'll keep the bank to myself, but banks are obligated not to charge you for fraudulent charges. But EIFCU seems to think otherwise. This is just the beginning EIFCU. Things will be righted or else. You have literally taken advantage of your client as if nobody would know, but I do. I understand how you have wronged someone and how you have violated your obligations. Don't do business here or they could do the same to you.
