Our mission guides all that we do: “To eliminate the causes of poverty by strengthening individuals, families, and communities through self-sufficiency initiatives in Douglas and Sarpy Counties.” These initiatives include employment assistance; emergency financial assistance; mental health and substance abuse treatment, including clinical training of UNO practicum students and interns; nutrition support; transportation; senior enrichment; and youth empowerment.
