Ed was incredibly friendly when I first reached out. As a first-time home buyer, I was not sure where to begin and he explained the services he would provide along with a sample report. He was accommodating and got my inspection in right after I asked. The report that followed was also delivered quickly. Ed was incredibly thorough during the inspection and he explained everything he was checking. If I had any questions, he answered them without any hassle. I brought along my family and he made sure they were pleased with his services as well. I would highly recommend Ed for anyone looking for a home inspector who cares about making sure the buyer is fully aware of what kind of home they are buying. Not only is he incredibly professional, but he is always friendly and courteous. He invited me to ask questions after the inspection and after sending the report. I am so happy I chose Ed because he made me feel confident in my future home.

Ed was recommended to me by a builder after I had called a few other inspectors to find that they were either unavailable or super expensive. Ed answered when I called and gave me a super reasonable and affordable quote right on the phone. I was in a time crunch and although it was on short notice, he got out to do my inspection and did an awesome job! He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about construction of the house, what was good, what was bad, and the potential issues there could be in the future. Although he was very professional it was clear that I was not working with a large corporate company and that I was not just another work order. Ed took the time to make sure he did a good job and write a very in depth, descriptive inspection report. He also took some great photos.
Wow! To say that Ed is good at his job is an understatement! Not only was he very professional, arriving early and getting right to work, but he kept us in the loop of what he was looking at. He didn't seem to mind the entourage I brought with me and he was happy to answer any questions we had while pointing out what might be potential problems and suggesting ways it could be fixed, but always suggesting use of a professional qualified to make those changes. The report that we got back was detailed, accompanied with photos, and well organized by areas, type of system and the information and suggestions for repairs or maintenance in the future. He was also a generally nice man, sharing fun stories of his own and just creating a nice atmosphere during what can be a scary and nerve-wracking time for new home buyers!

Ed Wagner was a tremendous help to us when we bought our first home. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. He shared his wealth of knowledge in a down-to-earth way that was never condescending, and we left understanding a great deal more about our future home. His inspection was very thorough. He noticed two issues of concern that would’ve been very expensive for us to correct in the long run, and we were relieved to ensure the seller took care of them first. Ed takes pride in his work and in the relationships he builds with his customers. I can’t recommend Wagner Inspection highly enough!
