I love this store. We moved to Orcas a couple of months ago from Denver and we had access to home Depot and all the big box places. I'm a frequent hardware shopper and honestly I was a little worried about whether we would find what we needed on the island. This place is great. It's amazing how much stuff they have tucked away here and there. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Not to criticize anyone else but this is definitely the best hardware experience on the island and even if I still lived in Denver I'd probably go here

A little of everything you could possibly need on the Island. Lumber yard in back, and clothing upstairs. Don't miss the free popcorn inside, and 50 soda machine outside

Best hardware store on island. Local ace has potentially better garden supplies? But Island hardware has a vastly larger range of fasteners, pipes, electrical hardware, etc. They also have the cheepest gas on the island.

Crazy selection of items. Extremely nice people behind the counter. Prices are reasonable, and that is surprising given that this place is on an island. Definitely worth a visit. Need that big jar of Costco bread and butter pickles? They've got it.
