They do not spend a lot of money taking care of place. It is our course to play when courses in North Jersey are not playable. With senior rate it is good day outside. The layout is fine. They just do not spend the monies to upkeep. The staff is very friendly

Avoid this course. You are much better off getting a Monmouth County card and playing one of the county courses. Fairways, rough, and tee boxes are in laughable condition. Greens are fine. There was a dead fox carcass sitting on a tee box. I'm convinced you have to try to have the course in this bad a shape. I'm sure back in the day this course was great and it sure has potential, but now it's a waste. Avoid if you can.
Had a great round. Nice course. Played it when the greens were being aerated which sucks but still had a great time.
Had a great time playing here this weekend, albeit I am not a regular golfer. Yes, the grass is long if you miss the fairway. Yes, you will lose some balls. But if you're just looking to have a good time and get outside to play then give it a shot. If you require a perfectly manicured course in order to enjoy yourself then maybe look elsewhere.
Poor conditions would be putting as nice as I could it was messy and sloppy grounds maintenance needs to step it up. The course has massive potential with location but very little changes have been made over the years step it up guys you should have paid me 25 to play 9. Look in this picture plywood, beer cans, garbage bags and mud. Should have wore my Muck Boots that I fish with instead of golf shoes. I know it's February and I'm lucky to be playing but come on guys.
