My wife and I were extremely pleased working with Alex and Minneapolis Decks. We met with a few other deck builders and ultimately selected Minneapolis Decks after meeting Alex in person and reviewing the 3D model (which we found to be a huge benefit in the process. We found Alex to be a great communicator and transparent when discussing pricing options. We were able to visit the showroom a couple times to discuss pros and cons of different materials which helped us make an informed decision. The crew did a fantastic job during the demo and build of our new deck. The main builder on our project was Scott. Scott is extremely professional builder and is very proud of his work…he will not sacrifice quality / cut corners and will make sure you are aware of the plan each day / following day. You will want Scott on your project! Alex also showed up a couple times a week to check in on the crew which was nice to see how engaged he was on the project. Overall we had a great experience with Minneapolis Decks - it’s was great working with a contractor that was so focused on quality of their product and communication with the owner. We plan to convert the deck into a three season porch in year or two and plan to work with Alex and his team again.

Alex and crew built a beautiful deck for us. From the first interaction until the deck was complete Alex provided timely responses, listened to our requests, gave options and built a quality deck that our neighbors are envious of. Minneapolis Deck was able to create an “addition to the house”, not just a backyard deck. From the introduction meeting for project consideration to the final clean up upon project completion and inspection, the individuals and company represent high-end professionals genuinely interested in high quality work and customer satisfaction. Our deck was well planned, very well communicated, and impressively constructed by experienced individuals, all of which resulted in an extremely well liked finished deck. Consistently, the finished deck has received significant complimentary comments from visitors. I highly recommend, and have to others already, Minneapolis Deck.
We met with 3 general contractors and 2 other deck companies, and finally found everything we were looking for (and everything we didn't know we needed) with Minneapolis Decks! From design to proposal to construction we've been very satisfied. To us, our project is a big investment and we are very glad we chose to work with Alex, and we love the deck and screen room he and his team has built for us!
