I am a disabled veteran my name is John H. My stomach doctor recommended this Institute because of less complications. I went to the seminar and spoke to a doctor afterwards. They are a class act and will take care of you in every way except for me. I have Cigna Helthspring insurance and it was plastered all over their brochures and even on the presentation that I watched. Well the insurance Lady waited forever to contact me but when she did She told me my insurance was not in their network. Now I have to go with the butcher down the street. So if you have Cigna don't bother with these people. My doctor is on the Cigna board and said he did not understand because he would not have sent me there if my insurance was not good there.

I had my bypass on 11/14/18 and I had the best experience ever. Dr. Martinez, no relation, is amazing and I'm already one pound away from my goal weight. My only regret is not having had the surgery years ago. I wish I could give more than five stars to the staff at DHR BMI. Humberto, my nutritionist, is wonderful. He gave me great ideas for my diet and was very helpful during my follow up appointments. If you are thinking about WLS I recommend DHR BMI. Take charge of your life and setup an appointment.

The level of ease and quickness in navigating the different registration stations was good (4 out of 5)! The CNAs & RNs gathered my information in a timely manner (4 out of 5). I never waitied longer than 15 minutes to see the doctor (5 out of 5). In my personal experience pre surgery appointments were usually 4-6 weeks in between (4 out of 5).
