Today I got stranded on the side of the road and called Edinburg Police Department for some assistance. The dispatcher was very helpful and attentive during the call. Not long after, two Police Officers showed up and helped me push my vehicle to the side of the road for safety away from oncoming traffic. They went above and beyond and I am very grateful for them. Thank you kindly Edinburg Police Department for all your help and for such kind and helpful officers. May God bless you all.

Edinburg PD is a joke we had an issue with a thief. We knew where the thief lived and had proof of everything. They didn’t help us just told us we had to file a lawsuit in the court. Really? Then what are cops suppose to do when they see a thief ? wait and file a lawsuit in the court I don’t think so they help you if you have power and money otherwise your on your own. I can’t wait to move from Edinburg I don’t feel safe knowing they won’t help you.

The people at the department do an all right job However the cops are a different story Today at 11:41 am Unit 1407 was driving on Freddy Gonzalez from Jackson to Closner The cop was switching lanes around a school zone with out using the blinker and on the school zone he/she was driving at 43 mph when the speed limit was 35 mph I’m thinking we are allowed to do the same thing as they “Lead by example”

I called the other night to have someone check on my son. I had not heard from him in a couple days, he lives with his mother and her abusive boyfriend. I never heard back from them or her.
